I work with adults in both Alberta (virtual and in person) and Ontario (virtual).
I have a special interest in women’s perinatal (prenatal and postpartum) mental health, as well as supporting men and women in their journey and transition to parenthood. This includes trying to conceive, infertility, pregnancy loss/miscarriage, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, and navigating parenting in the early childhood years.
I also have a strong background in treating anxiety and perfectionism, as well as issues with assertiveness and interpersonal communication.
I take a client-centered approach, which emphasizes that a collaborative, supportive, and non-judgmental relationship between client and psychologist is a key component of therapy. My background and training is in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), although I draw from other therapeutic approaches to individualize treatment based on client needs.
